Executive Group

The implementation of the ISEC Hub relies on the ISEC Hub Executive Group. This group is responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of the ISEC Hub implementation.

Composition of the Executive Group

The executive group will be formed by D4I and C4I project partners, each of them responsible of specific tasks to split responsibilities:

Connect

Francesco is a European Policy and Project Officer with over 16 years of academic and professional experience abroad. He specializes in applied European transnational cooperation projects in the Mediterranean, with a strong focus on institutional collaboration for water governance in Southern Europe and its green/blue transition to an innovative, sustainable economy. At both policy and project levels, he also works on migration and social inclusion policy, supported by background research.

Soraya is currently participating in the Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVY) initiative working on Dialogue4Innovation project and brings international experience in Euro-Mediterranean cooperation. She holds a BA in political science, and has a background in sociology and anthropology, and she holds a master degree in European and International Studies with a focus in euro-mediterranean cooperation and paradiplomacy. alHer previous professional background includes roles in project coordination and public affairs consultancies.

With over 10 years of experience in EU project management and consultancy, he has worked with institutions such as the European Projects Office of the Molise Region and the University of Molise (Italy), and has also served as a programme organiser responsible for coordinating the Brussels sessions of the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA).

Learn

Haris is a marine biologist with international experience in both research and project management. He holds a BSc in Biology, Environmental Biology, and Management of Biological Resources from the University of Crete, and an MSc in Marine and Lacustrine Science and Management from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.

Dr. Maria Calderó holds a BA in Biotechnology, an MSc in Water Science and Technology, and a PhD in Limnology. Throughout her career, she has contributed to both national and international research teams and is currently responsible for coordinating and implementing projects within the Interreg, Horizon, and PRIMA frameworks.

Youna is currently participating in the Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVY) initiative. She holds a BA in Anthropology and a Master’s in European Studies. Her previous experience includes work in project awareness-raising and communications, currently contributing to the Community4Innovation initiative at the Beta Tech Centre.

Clara holds a BA in Global Studies and a Master’s in Security and Diplomacy. Her experience spans both local and international cooperation, with additional involvement in entrepreneurship and sustainability initiatives. She is currently working as a technician in Governance for Sustainability at the Beta Tech Centre.

Collaborate

Sarai holds a Master’s degree in Diplomacy and International Organizations, along with a specialization diploma in Crisis Management and Strategic Planning. She has extensive experience in project coordination, policy analysis, and institutional relations, and is currently serving as a Project Manager at MedWaves.

Alessandro is an experienced professional in project management, coordination, and consultancy. Throughout his career, he has focused on climate action, territorial planning, and sustainable development. He is currently Team Leader for Networking, Partnerships, and Communications at MedWaves.
