The Innovative Sustainable Economy (ISE) Mission consists of 23 Thematic Projects (TPs) and 2 Governance Projects that aim to catalyse innovation and sustainability efforts across the Mediterranean region. These projects represent an important step towards promoting a climate-neutral and resilient society in the region. The 23 TPs are clustered to address specific challenges and contribute to sustainable development in 4 focus areas: Marine Resources, Agri-food Systems, Industrial Transition, and Resource Valorisation.

The ISEC Hub is part of the Innovative Sustainable Economy Mission under the 2021–2027 Interreg Euro-MED Programme. It was created to support collaboration, innovation, and strategic alignment across the region. The ISEC Hub is driven and co-chaired by two key governance projects of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme: the Institutional Dialogue Project (Dialogue4Innovation) and the Thematic Community Project (Community4Innovation), which jointly coordinate its development and engagement strategy.
