The Learn pillar supports continuous learning and skills development across the Mediterranean to advance a more innovative and sustainable economy. From tailored mentoring programmes to accessible online trainings, it equips stakeholders—from public authorities to SMEs and civil society organisations to research centers—with the tools they need to address ongoing challenges, share solutions, and replicate or scale up successful practices.
This programme connects committed stakeholders from across the Mediterranean—referred to as the takers—with experts and project teams from the Mission’s Thematic Projects—the givers. Through online and in-person exchanges, takers receive practical, tailored support to adapt and implement proven innovative solutions in their local contexts.
Overall, this process is positioned to strengthen capacities, encourage North–South collaboration, and to promote peer-to-peer knowledge exchange—turning ideas into real, impactful action.
Serves as a structured exchange framework linking those seeking guidance with those offering expertise.
Stakeholders interested in participating can express their interest via surveys (see below). The Hub then assesses their profiles and matches their needs with relevant experts from the Mission’s projects.
By linking people, skills, and resources, the programme strengthens regional cooperation, accelerates the uptake of proven solutions, and unlocks the power of peer-to-peer knowledge exchange—turning ideas into impactful action.
