The Collaborate pillar transforms connections, learning, and shared insights into potential collective action. It’s where dialogue can become collaboration and ideas become shared initiatives. Through opportunities for structured forums, internal consultations on policy messages, and dissemination of active engagement opportunities for members—i.e, other stakeholders’ public consultations—, this pillar strengthens ownership, trust, and impact of the ISE Community.
Scan4Hubs serves as an opportunity to monitor existing hubs—focal points where knowledge, resources, and opportunities converge—and identify collaboration opportunities across the Mediterranean innovation landscape. By promoting content sharing and cooperation among regional hubs, which often operate in silos, it seeks to streamline efforts, reduce redundancy, and amplify collective impact through partnerships such as sharing members, co-hosting events, and exchanging information.

Scan4Messages focuses on policy influence and communication to foster a unified Mediterranean voice. It encourages members to co-create collective, coherent, and impactful policy messages, while also addressing how these messages are delivered across the region. The initiative follows two main tracks:
ACT provides a space to take part in the co-development of ISEC’s policy messages. Participate in consultation rounds and contribute your expertise and influence to develop collective action.
How does it work?
Members can contribute on an ad-hoc basis—for instance, by sharing data, validating policy papers, peer-reviewing documents or helping disseminate key messages. To do so, a form will be published below when an open consultation is needed.
REACT is about staying informed. Members can monitor open consultation calls and opportunities launched by other organisations, with the option to respond, endorse, or amplify them if relevant.
